Cherry back hourglass dulcimer

The wood for the sides is curly yellow birch, the top is hard maple. The wood for all parts of the body is very thin (1/16"), so the instrument is quite light.

Padouk and birch for the fingerboard, mahogany for the peghead, ebony for bridge and nut.

This is my last dulcimer for the season: it will all be ukuleles until the fall.
